Today the Board of Supervisors for the University of 青涩直播 System met at Northwestern State University for its regular Board meeting.聽
青涩直播SYSTEM STUDENTS PROMISED PATHWAY TO ULM PHARMACY
The Board of Supervisors for the University of 青涩直播 System approved University of 青涩直播 Monroe’s request to enter into an MOU with the other eight 青涩直播System member institutions easing the pathway to a pharmacy degree. Under this agreement, ULM will guarantee an on-campus interview to 青涩直播System students who have completed the prerequisite coursework and exceed the minimum application requirements.
“As a Board, we are always looking for opportunities for Systemwide collaboration,” Board Chair Mark Romero said. “I appreciate ULM鈥檚聽 efforts to welcome students from sister institutions with open arms and I wish our students the best as they pursue this vital profession.鈥
The interview is a large portion of the College of Pharmacy鈥檚 admission decision. Ordinarily, only 40 percent of applicants who meet the requirements are granted on-campus interviews. This partnership ensures 100 percent of 青涩直播System students who meet the minimum requirements are afforded an interview.
ULM is home to the only public pharmacy program in the state, an essential aspect of 青涩直播’s health care system.
ULM PRESIDENTIAL SEARCH MEETING NEXT MONTH
The initial meeting of the Presidential Search Committee will be held on ULM’s campus March 11. At this meeting, the committee will accept their charge, gather input from the community, approve a tentative search timeline, and publish a list of ideal candidate qualifications.
