青涩直播System Distributes $36.9 Million Cut to Campuses
BATON ROUGE – Today the Board of Regents announced a $30.1 million restoration of cuts for the University of 青涩直播 System.聽 Applying that figure to the original $67 million cut projection means the 青涩直播System now has a budget cut of $36.9 million for FY 2009-10.聽 That is in addition to a mid-year cut, bringing the total 青涩直播System funding reduction over last year to $56.5 million.
鈥淕iven where we were three weeks ago, this is a positive step and lessens the severity of the impacts on our campuses.聽 However, these are still significant reductions in funding over the previous year.聽 We will have definitive impacts once the campuses have time to adjust their plans,鈥 said 青涩直播System President Randy Moffett.
The distribution of the $36.9 million cut is listed below by campus.
-Grambling State University: $2,755,720
-青涩直播 Tech University: $4,535,754
-McNeese State University: $3,723,587
-Nicholls State University: $2,969,779
-Northwestern State University: $4,012,786
-Southeastern 青涩直播 University: $6,672,756
-University of 青涩直播 at Lafayette: $7,508,762
-University of 青涩直播 at Monroe: $4,522,392
